Angels Cry

Angels Cry

Leaves of memory,

Rustle in the dark,

Thunder claps,

And a painful screech is heard,

The Angels Cry.

The world shatters,

As love is lost,

Whispers in the storm lisp,

“Keep my heart Kip”

Caress my soul Cares”

But none listens…

After the storm weathers,

And life seas are crossed,

In the constant ache of loneliness,

I hope the whisper,

Will echo in their hearts,

And ‘Heko’ I’ll tell them,

When they find their way,

To each other’s arms,

To a future of exiting dales and glens,

‘Heko’ I’ll tell them,

When they reach home,

KIPCARES

Where the heart is,

A land of rivers of honey.

But until then,

Beneath this poem,

My hope I place,

Beneath this poem,

I pray Kip will keep,

And Cares will caress.

Until then,

The Angels Cry.
