I’m Coming Home

homecoming

From a distant valley,

A cry was heard,

And the sweet heavens answered,

A place beautiful to call home,

And now African drums are calling,

My hips yearn for the shaking,

The butterflies in the wind beckoning,

And beautiful rivers that i drunk from, miss me,

The cold crisp air, my lungs crave,

The beauty of the rising sun, spreading its tentacles,

Embracing the hills, kissing the morning dew,

Are a sight, to lose my breath for,

The roads are clear,

And my kinsmen are waiting,

I’m coming home.
